Make More Money Online by Creating Several Profitable Blogs

Whether you want passive income or more direct income, whether you want to be a career blogger or just want another source of part time income, your best bet is to create more than one blog. There is a big strategy and a small strategy to this, and making more from each post by treating this like a business. This guide explains how to create more than one profitable blog, starting at day 1.
Day 1 Blogger:
It's best to stick with just one blog if you are just starting out as a blogger. If you're an advanced blogger, my later tips here are more up your alley. On day 1, follow the steps of creating a strong business plan intent on earning income even within the first month. Real income, not income that paid you $10 for 20 hours of work. It's not easy, but it is more than possible. Thousands of bloggers are using it.
But, on day 1 of any blog the focus is trying to find a mindset for successfully getting more readers. The most important thing to remember is, one powerful blog can jumpstart an entire series of blogs. It can lead to lots of paid work and experience in this growing market.
When to build 2 blogs:
You can still try to start two blogs, especially if you have experience online. This guide, after all, is about creating more than one profit stream. Blogging cash comes with one blog, but the reality is several successful blogs on different topics almost doubles your possible readers. Say for example you are building a collecting blog, with an emphasis on selling certain products via auction sites and retailers like eBay and Amazon. You will find one, if not dozens, of even more specific niches. Selling collectible books. Selling comics. Selling coins. Each of these has potential for a separate blog, especially if you have an interest in the subject.
Still, you will have more experience than on one topic. You like commentating on films too, and this in some way coincides with collecting books or comics; people who like one often like the other. So by creating one blog and getting the same reader to both, you are doubling your potential hits.
Make sure they like the writing:
I say this from experience: creating more than one blog often makes two or more lesser quality blogs. You may have a day job, you may have kids to feed, and building a blog from scratch can be tough. Therefore, the qualities of your posts may go down. If this is the case, you might want to stick to one blog now and see if it's successful.
Backlink bonanza!
You will want to make sure all your readers from one blog know about your second or third blogs. Again, this is doubling the amount of readers possible. So with every single post on both blogs, leave a hyperlink to the other blog. That's a backlink, and it's a proven way to build a blogging career. Also, if you publish any writing online, always make sure to include your blogs in your bio, the short paragraph where you explain who you are and what you do.
One fails:
Lastly, by building more than one blog you get to see the market for each. One may fail for you, bringing in few if any readers. While on the other side, the second and/or third blogs take off. There is nothing wrong with "retiring" a blog that isn't making much headway.
My final tip on failed blogs is to simply set a plan from the outset on when you will throw in the towel. Set a profit margin, for example. If you don't make $100 a month by month 3, you're out with that blog.

Top 3 Ways to Make Money With a Profitable Blog

Creating a profitable blog might seem like an overwhelming task, but the truth is that making money off of your blog is the easy part. The more intensive and work involved part of the equation is creating the actual blog itself. You have to set up a domain, hosting, a site, and then come up with plenty of interesting content to put on the blog.
You also have to commit your time or your money in order to ensure new content is added on a regular basis. But once you have this aspect under control, you can use the following ideas to make an income with the site you have created.
Ad Clicks
Implementing ads on your site is one of the easiest and best ways to ensure a profitable blog. You can use Google AdSense, Bidvertiser, Kontera, or a number of options found on the Internet in order to accomplish this. If you can, make sure to include more than one form of ad placement on your blog as this will diversify your earnings so all your eggs aren't placed in one basket.
Product Ads
Joining affiliate programs at websites like Amazon and eBay can provide you with a hefty income. You can match products found at these sites with topics you address on your blog, and then incorporate the promotions as you see fit. You may wish to provide a widget of books for your readers to choose from, or you might choose to link the products into your articles as you post them.
Affiliate Links
Join affiliate programs that sell specific products through outlets like ClickBank or Commission Junction. As long as you choose high earning products that pertain to your niche, you should be able to make substantial income with this process alone. You can direct people to these affiliate products by creating links on the side bar of your blog, by linking them in your articles, or by sending them out to consumers who sign up for your newsletter at your blog.
There really are several ways to make a profitable blog and these are some of the most proven and effective methods marketers tend to stick with. The trick is to get creative and seek out ways to bring your products and offers to the people who visit your blog without inundating them with sales content. Make sure the blog provides plenty of interesting, useful and relative information and you should not have any problem with this.

Creating a Profit Blog

Every marketer would love to own a blog with literally hundreds or even thousands of viewers. The more viewers your blog has the more profitable it becomes. This is because you get to promote many things on your blog like your business, services or even products. But before you can attract a lot of traffic to your profit blog, it's going to take some time and efforts. Here are a few suggestions on how you can get started with your profit blog.
To begin with, you have to appear human to your niche or tribe. The more human you appear the more interesting you become because you attract like minded people or viewers. Attracting like minded people makes relating a lot easier. Next question is what you should do to appear more human? This would mean you have to be yourself and express your thoughts at the same time provide good content. By now, you should already know what your niche or tribe is.
The manner in which you express your thoughts on your profit blog and the information that you present to your audience are the keys to attract a following. Remember, the more relevant your information is to your audience the more like minded people you attract.
Next, another process on how you can appear human with genuine interests and not just someone who would like to promote his blog is to interact with your online community. You can do this by going to other people's blogs, leaving comments with the goal of sharing useful information and eventually linking back to that blog. This is another way for you to get more viewers.

Making Money At Blogging - How To Create A Profitable Blog

So many people out there with fantastic blogs just don't realize the money making potential of their blog. They just aren't aware of how their blog might be monetised to bring them a nice, regular online income. Now pretty much anyone can actually make online money with blogging. And if they get good at it, it can become quite a handsome income, without having to spend a lot of time on it. Don't get me wrong - a lot of time goes in when you're establishing your blog, but after that it's mostly just a matter of maintaining it.
Let me give you some ideas about why making money at blogging is so profitable and manageable.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Now that may sound scary if you are not technologically inclined, but it really isn't - especially for bloggers. WordPress (which I highly recommend), makes it very easy for even beginners to have and look after a good looking, profit making blog. And the real beauty about WordPress - and blogging in general - is that the search engines, Google included, loves blogs! Blogs provide fresh content on a regular basis. The search engines just eat this up - they absolutely love it.
Many WordPress themes are designed with SEO in mind. There are very simple ways to include AdSense on your blog and other ways to make money on your blog.
You really don't need to know html or other coding at all with a WordPress blog. In fact I'd go as far to say that if you can use Microsoft Word, then you can manage your own blog.
Niche Marketing
The first thing I want to point out for you is that if your main reason for blogging is to create a bit of cash flow you'll need to choose a topic or niche that people are already buying in, or is searched for a lot. You can determine this in many ways, but some of the quickest ways (and my preferred methods) are by using the Google AdWords Keyword Tool, Google Trends (to see what that market is doing - trending up, down or steady) and ClickBank. You might as well set up a Google account and a ClickBank account, because you want to make money blogging, right? So you will need these sooner rather than later. And when you have a Google account it makes using their Keyword Tool much easier.
Secondly, if you can find a niche that people are buying in AND you have a strong interest in the topic, you are way more likely to succeed. You'll be enthusiastic about your blog, which comes across in your writing and you'll also already be researching the topic, looking at new ideas about it, reading articles or reviews about it and more. So you'll always have something fresh to offer your blog readers - which keeps them coming back.
If you really want to ramp up your income from your blog, then you'll need to create a list of subscribers. Offer them something of value (a report or e-book etc.) so they'll give you their email address. You can automate this entire process with an autoresponder. I use aWeber, but there are many very good autoresponder companies. This way you can send out a series of emails (automatically) to people on your list which you will provide excellent information on your niche as well as some affiliate product offers. This is another way to make money with blogging.
Physical Products
Before spending quite a few dollars on my latest digital camera that I bought last year, I did a lot of online research. I went through reviews, testimonials and customer opinions on several digital cameras that I was interested in. I spent a lot of time online reading, comparing several models, jotting down notes before I made my decision and bought it. Most of that time was spent on technology and photography blogs. This research helped my make the purchase.
Now if the site that I bought the camera through had been where I got the reviews I might had been sceptical and probably wouldn't have bought there. But reading blogger's reviews of the products (even if they got paid for it) gave me the overall information that actually helped that camera company make a sale without using any of its own resources.
Take into consideration now that there is an entire generation who grew up with computers and the internet. They use them to make purchasing decisions. That's a lot of people across the world using this technology to buy things.
Blogs Encourage Visitor Interaction
Many blog visitors will post comments on your blog, talk about their own experience with a particular products or topic and add even more value to your blog. You'll have more original content (remember search engines love that) and often comments inspire other readers to add their bit to as well. When people truly love your blog they will spread the word and even link to your posts if they have their own website or blog, giving you valuable backlinks which again helps with SEO.
Making Money Blogging
It is not hard to start a blog and turn it into a money making blog. You may already have a popular blog and just need to include ways to monetise it. First, understand the potential of your blog, get some visitors to it and you can start making money fairly quickly. You can also make money blogging with paid reviews.

How to Create a Profitable Blog

Ok so you really want to know how to create a profitable blog. I hope you know how to create a blog in the first place. If you don't, there are plenty of tutorials on creating a blog at WordPress and at YouTube. That is the easy part.
You can create your blog at blogger or WordPress. I like WordPress myself. WordPress makes it easy with plenty of themes, plugins, and widgets.
The blog you create should be something of great interest to you. The reason for that is you will need to be blogging for some time. You will need to write posts and add pages. Just creating a blog is not going to help. Your blog has the same chance of being found as winning the power ball.
On your blog, please make sure it looks nice. Give it a clean and friendly look. What I mean by that is have your categories, pages and posts organized. Spend the time to set the look and feel up properly. As you are creating the pages, ask yourself this question: would I go there. If it doesn't have your interest, it probably won't have anyone elses.
While you are creating your blog and for months to come, believe in yourself. You will need to do this. You are not going to put up a blog today and make $20,000 a month in a few months. Have the positive mind set and just write about the topic of your interest. There are always ways to monetize your blog and I will get to that. Again believe in yourself.
On your blog, the posts should be short and informal. Write the posts as if you were talking to a friend or coworker who had the same interest. As people find your blog and read your post, they may comment. READ the comments. Your readers are what is important. Read the comments and maybe you will learn and have to adapt your style. The interaction between you and your readers is what will get them to come back. Most internet marketers will say your money is in your list of email subscribers and using autoresponders to (chat) with your list is how to make money. This is true as you will need to have contact with customer. It is said that a person visiting your blog or hearing from you will need to do so up to 9 times before a purchase is made. Creating your profitable blog takes time. See what I mean by having the positive attitude.
To stay in touch with your visitor, you should do the following. Allow people to subscribe to blog, have a form on your blog that is giving away something. An example would be a free report. And you may also want to use a popup possibly giving them something. Give it away. I personally like popups that go up when leaving my site. I feel it is less intrusive. Some free report that has a link back to your blog is invaluable. Use a autoresponder to stay in touch with these people. Don't overload them though. Send them their free report and say thank you for stopping by my http://www.blog.com. In 3, 4 or 5 days using your autoresponder system send a quick note saying hi to the person, ask if they liked the free report, and maybe let let know about any recent happenings on your blog
Keep communication going in a friendly way. If you setup and autoresponder to email your list. I suggest that you follow up after giving away a freebie at days 3,7,12,19,30. This is keeping it friendly and not overloading their email. I know if I get to much email from someone pushy, I unsubscribe. You got a friendly subscriber, now keep it.
OK now I will talk a little more on the monetizing side of your blog. I see many blogs that way overdo it with Google AdSense. Your primary focus should not be a click leaving your blog by clicking on a Google AdSense ad where you only get a little money. Your goal is to build a friendly relationship with your reader and during the course of the stopping by or you email them, you suggest something that may interest them. This is where you make money. I like to use commissionjuction, paydotcom, and clickbank.
I also like to try to incorporate items that may have residual income or earnings from backend sales. I hope you know what that is. Backend sales and residual income can be your golden nugget of your website. I spend time at associaiteprograms.com and residualincomefindres.com to get ideas to incorporate into what I may be doing.

How to Create a Profitable Blog - 5 Simple Tips For Making Mountains of Money From Your Blog

Who else wants to learn how to create a profitable blog? If you are anything like the vast majority of people who read our articles, one of the biggest skills you want to master is the art (and science) of learning how to turn your blog into a profit center in your business, right?
It's true....and if you've been listening to our advice for any length of time, you already know that we've been recommending every business owner start a blog for years....and at no time has that become even more true than right now. Why? Well, just about everyone is "twittering" playing on Facebook and doing the whole social networking dance, and speaking this to these folks in the informal, evolving language of the web has never been more important if you want to make money online, or with your existing business.
With that said, here are 5 simple tips for turning YOUR blog into an evergreen profit center that will grow with you, and your business going forward.
- Always host your own blog. Say no to "free" hosted services as you lose control of your content....and once you become successful, you WILL regret not having your own host, I promise!
- Not Hemmingway or Tolstoy? Don't worry about it, it's NOT a reason not to start writing. Most people don't read Hemingway or Tolstoy anyway, and are only looking for simple, straightforward information in the industry that you work in. Trust me, simple is very effective and more than sufficient to generate tons of business.
- Write a lot of lists. This sort of dovetails with the above. Keep things simple, and offer lots of short bulleted lists that people can scan, and consume quickly. Believe it or not, fortune favors people who can write succinctly, more so than writing really well, but elaborately. 4 Ways to do this, 7 ways to do that, and the like are very effective for a blog.
- Link to your competition, and be a great resource of impartial information. Sounds a little bit backward, right? I mean....who would put up a yellow pages ad and include a mention to your chief competitor? But believe it or not, for a whole slew of reasons outside the scope of this article, the MORE links and mentions you make of sites, services and information outside of your site, the better off you are likely to show up in the search engines very highly for your market. ( plus it's a PROVEN fact that people tend to come back more and revisit "resource" oriented sites, than they do blatant sale sly sites)
- Controversy Crushes: Yes, if you want a ton of eyeballs in front of your site, service or offer, creating some controversy is the very best way to get some quick. Call out an injustice, pick on a competitor or simply say something sure to stir the pot a bit...and you'll be rewarded with buckets of backsides who'll come over to "hear" what you've got to say!
Are there more? Absolutely, but creating a profitable blog is dead simple, and whether you are an Internet marketer wannabe...or an established professional in your field without a web presence, I don't know a quicker way to get the word out than this!

What's it Take to Create a Profitable Blog?

Blogs and blogging have taken off through out the world, as a means of personal expression, as a tool to discuss topics and products, and as a device to assist in creating traffic and search engine optimization. All of which could have a positive fiscal impact for the blog writer. Yet, it is widely believed that relatively few bloggers actually make money with blogs.
Why is that? Well clearly for some the goal is not financial, but in many cases it's not that the blogger doesn't want to make money through their blogging efforts. It's that they are not going about it in the right way. And that's a shame.
So what's required? The first step is to decide that you actually do want to monetize your blog. Don't be bashful about it. Other media outlets make millions, think ABC, NBC, CBS, your local newspaper and radio station. They all provide news and information and entertainment. And they are not bashful about their advertising and economic pursuit. You shouldn't be either.
Once you've decided to "go for the green" it's important to think about what that means to your blog. It may mean that you have to turn your attention away from yourself. Your blog will likely need to be based not just on you and your interests, but those of your intended audience. It's wise to pick a specific targeted audience that your blog will appeal to. Typically, most profitable bloggers focus on a niche that interests them and in which they already have a base of knowledge.
This isn't required of course, you can always explore a new field, but it should be one in which you are genuinely interested and are willing to learn about. Now a key secret to creating a profitable blog is to talk about profitable blogging topics. This requires research. You need to find not only a topic of interest to you, but one in which your potential audience has specific needs that can be met through one or more affiliate product you will be able to promote to them.
This ultimately requires the profitable blogger to learn about keyword research. Identify terms that the market will most likely use when searching for information on your topic. Many researchers find the free Google Keyword tool to be an excellent starting point in this process. Once you understand what your potential audience is looking for, you can focus your blog posts around those topics.
You next need to find a set of products you can become an affiliate for that meet the interests and demands of your audience. The easiest way to do that is to go to Google and type in your topic... say Ice Skating and add the term Affiliate after it.
Odds are you will find more than one affiliate program on most any topic you can imagine. If you don't, it's a pretty good clue that your topic is not a profitable one, in which case you should move on to another topic. Another key way of judging whether a topic is profitable is to do a search on Google for your major keyword. If there aren't any or many Google ads for the item, the odds are that your efforts will fall flat. Save yourself time and grief and move on to another niche.
Most profitable bloggers are also list builders. You want to find or create a free report you can offer to people who come to your blog that will be of interest to your visitors and make it possible for them to get it free, just for joining your email list.
This critical step allows you to not only profit from your blog postings but also to keep in touch with interested parties over time. You can mail them periodically with updates and information, or advise them when you have a new blog posting that might be of interest to them.
These basic ideas are the fundamentals of profitable blogging. As always there is always more to learn, and you should always be on the lookout for tools, tips and tricks to help you refine these processes. As time goes on, you will learn and earn more and more from your profitable blog.

Secrets of Article Writing - How Article Writing Creates Traffic

With the advent of the internet, there have been many jobs and profiles that have come up in the past few years. In fact, the internet has become one of the most important business and advertising tool today. Several companies have begun to make changes in their advertising budgets and plants to wedge in online space advertising budget too.
Most of the advertising budget that is decided online is for making the product, service or company more visible to the target market. This is normally done by ways of increasing web traffic to either the website of the said product and organization. While this comes up to be pretty expensive for most companies, there is a more economical way of increasing web traffic for a product or a site - article writing.
Here are some ways in which article writing increases web traffic.
1. Search Engine Optimization: With the advent of search engines, the internet broke free from link directories and other ways that people used to look for content. Today, a person can search for whatever they require on the internet without the help of blog or article directories. The search engine websites speak to the websites through search engine optimization. If a website has search engine optimized content, the search engines will throw up the site in the results whenever the user searches for the said content.
2. Article Directories: Some websites that are known as article directories actually allow people to post the articles on their websites, with links to the website that the article writer wishes to promote. Article directories were considered a few years ago, but with Web 2.0 being in the forefront today, most article directories are actually good examples of how article writing creates traffic.
These are the two major ways in which article writing creates traffic for products, websites, organizations, or almost anything that the webmaster wishes to promote

How to Increase Traffic to Your Blog or Website in 90 Days or Less

I could have titled this article How to Increase Traffic to Your Blog or Website in 90 Days or Less Using Free Methods because that's mainly what I am going to show you how to do.
Ever since I have been consistently marketing online, I have been able to set up a blog and generate quite a bit of traffic to it, no matter what the niche. While I pretty much stay within the make money online or home business niches, the information that I am going to reveal will work for any niche market, big or small.
So what's the big secret? A couple really and they aren't secrets, but these tips or suggestions or whatever you wish to call them are:
1. Be Active
2. Be Consistent
3. Create high quality content that delivers value
Sounds difficult, doesn't it? Of course it doesn't, but I will tell you that thinking this process is easy would be a huge mistake. Being active with your blog, YouTube channel or some other type of website is extremely important and so many people will look at this and think that it is easy. I mean all you have to do is write a blog post or create a video. Can't be that difficult, can it?
I have been training people to market different programs, different business models and even marketers themselves, for a couple of years now and my methods still work very well - at least they work well for people who will work them.
Many students have asked me how I am able to get so many good results with the search engines and with my traffic generation. I am never elusive or reluctant to provide this information as a matter of fact, this one method, a method that works every single time, is something I teach in my classes on a regular basis.
So what is my "top-secret" traffic generation method? How am I able to start reaching the top of the search engine results page in a relatively short period of time? Consistent activity.
When I have a new blog and I want to generate leads, I make a blog post every single day, sometimes two or three and I will do this for 90 days or so. Activity! Once you finish up a 90 day content creation "cycle," you may ten tone things down a bit and post 1 to 2 days per week - just keep things going.
Now, you do want to make sure that you are not just putting junk out there, the information in your videos or audio files (aka: podcasts) or any other way must contain good information.
There is a saying online that many would say is true and that is, "content is king." I say that this statement is a partial truth because high quality, high value content is king. If you are just creating content for the sake of creating "stuff" to put on your site, it will backfire and you will do a lot of work for little results. You don't build a high quality audience with garbage content.
As far as consistency is concerned, just make sure that you are posting to your blog, uploading a video to YouTube on a regular consistent basis. The more times that the Google bots come around, the more the information on your site is being indexed and the better your site will start ranking.
Keep these 3 simple tips in mind when trying to reach the traffic generation goals you set for yourself. If you take on a 90 day challenge and stick with it all the way through to the end, you will not regret it and you will see traffic numbers in the hundreds of visits per day.

How to Create Traffic Online With Article Writing and Marketing

The main function of many WebPages is to deliver information of value. People use search engines to find web pages that deliver information of value to them. This is where articles come in. Articles are used to give information of value to the online surfer. This demand for such articles converts them to an important marketing tool.
A Simple Process
Article marketing is a simple process. First you have to write an article that is of great value to the readers. Then you add a bio at the end of it and a couple of links within the body. Viola! You are ready to go. This dramatically affects the amount of traffic going to your website and even increases your search engine ranking. More people pour into your site from search engines as well.
The article should be anywhere between 250 - 1000 words, though larger articles are permissible as well. Do not be blatantly promotional. Up to three links are generally allowed. Make the information useful. A bio of 75 - 150 words is generally one that works well.
Proofread all your articles carefully. The smallest errors need to be avoided as they damage your reputation online. To create traffic online with article marketing, submit your articles to sites like ghostwriters.com, articlewheel.com and isnare.com. These sites charge a nominal fee. The quantity of articles you write matters here. The more articles are written, the better.
Work Towards a Great Headline
Invest your time towards writing a great headline. A headline is what noticed first when you create traffic online with article is marketing. It is what draws a reader to read your article or overlook it. Naturally you must work on the headline as the most important part of the article. Use credible words. Be specific, believable and beneficial.
Invest Time in a Signature/Bio
The Bio is the second most important part of the article after the headline. The anchor text in the bio should include the phrase that you want to rank highly on in search results. If you want to rank highly on "New York Lawyers", make sure that it is a part of the bio and features as the anchor text that links back to your website.
Register a Google Alert For Your Article
Within 3-4 days Google will start showing you where your article appears. You will be surprised and even amazed at the results. Google alerts also let you track down article thieves that copy your work.

3 Tips on How to Increase Traffic to Your Website

If you do a search on the Internet on how to increase traffic to your website, you'll find a thousand different theories by a thousand different people who claim to be experts on the subject. The Internet is full of gurus and so called experts who are putting together products and ebooks on how to increase traffic to your website and are charging a pretty penny for the information as well. While it can be confusing and a bit deceiving to try and find reliable tips and help, there are at least three things you can do to increase your website's traffic.
One of the tips on how to increase traffic to your website that is extremely useful is called article marketing, or bum marketing. If you have a website that you are trying to promote and get high targeted traffic to, one of the best things you can do to promote it is write relevant, keyword rich content. Do some research on your niche and put together a list of keywords that are relevant to your site or product. Write a short 300-500 word article related to the product with keywords inserted through out the article. As a general rule, you'll not want to go over 3-7 times when putting the keyword phrase in your article. This is a technique that you can experience high levels of success with as you're learning how to increase traffic to your website.
Another fabulous tip for learning how to increase traffic to your website is to create backlinks. Backlinks are pretty simple and self-explanatory. A backlink is created when someone else's site has a link to your website. When you have a link on your site to another site, that is called a hyper link. There are several ways you can create a backlink. One way is to join forums that are relevant to your product or site and put your link as part of your signature. One thing you don't want to do is spam, which means you don't make a bunch of posts with your site link in them. Make sure to actually be a part of the community and leave useful replies to questions, or ask your own.
The third tip for learning how to increase traffic to your website is to use pay per click advertising. This can get a bit expensive, but if you make sure to make your ads highly targeted with low competition keywords that are relevant, you're sure to make a solid income from sales and in doing so the ads will pay for themselves. Make sure that you put your keyword in the title of your adcopy, as well as in the body of your adcopy. It comes highly recommended that you ask a question in the body of your ad, and use call to action phrases to draw people to your add.
A great tool that can help you master each of these methods on how to increase traffic to your website is SEO software. SEO software will give you tools and features to help you master the fine art of these techniques and increase your traffic and then increase the cash in your pockets.

For the internet entrepreneur that's on budget, there are always tools to create traffic to your website which are practically free. The only thing you will need to spend here is a bit of effort and time. You'll also be surprised at how easy it is to create a website that attracts targeted consumers. All you need to do is know the basics of organic search engine optimization.
Step one: keyword research
The first thing you need to do is to research about keyword popularity. Now, you can either choose a popular keyword that everyone's competing for, or choose a seldom-used keyword that can surely get you ranked highly on search engines. It really all depends on your marketing strategy, and you must have one if you're running a business online.
Either way, you should then include your chosen keyword to the text on your web pages. Remember, search engine crawlers recognize words which are either attached to your url address or included in your website articles. When you include these keywords, make sure that they fit into the content of your articles like a glove. Also, don't make the mistake of over-optimizing your website. When you overdo the keyword inclusions, you run the risk of being banned from popular search engines.
Step two: simple domain name and layout
Your domain name and your website layout are just as important in getting your site ranked higher in search engine listings. The secret here is to keep everything basic and simple. Make sure that you stay away from too many flash animations, frames, and photos. Make your website text-rich and useful. Also, keep to short, simple domain names. Ideally, your domain name should also contain the most popular keywords in your list. A catchy and precise domain name can be your ticket to free, instant, and long lasting search engine ranking.

How To Get Traffic to Your Blog

No matter what your blog is about, in order for it to be successful, you need to have a steady and stable flow of traffic to your blog so as to profit.
There are just too many issues to consider when it comes to getting traffic, and often people that are able to create traffic to their blogs are known as masters of the internet. The truth is that creating traffic to your blog is simpler than you think. It just takes some creative thinking from you and a few hours a day of unashamed promotion.
So after you deplete the traffic sources from your family and friends, who else can you pester to read your blog? The answer is probably not a soul unless you provide them a good reason to read it. This is in fact the number one traffic driving secrets when it comes to the topic of blog traffic.
The most excellent way to obtain traffic to your blog is by using free promotional methods. The key is to have something on your blog that is worth checking out when visitors get there. There are probably millions of blogs out there and even if you manage to bring traffic to your blog, they are not going to stay at your blog for long unless there is a compelling reason for them to do so. Therefore, before you even begin creating traffic to your blog, you should first think of a free promotion that can entice people to remember your blog and visit your blog again.
The first step you can do to get traffic to your blog is by joining all the forums and social networks related to your niche. If you have a blog that is related to dating advice, make sure that you join all the dating forums you can find on the web. Just go to Google and type "dating forum" and you are likely to find many of them. Check out their Alexa ranking to make sure it is a forum with high traffic. Don't waste your time on forum with little traffic.
Once you are at a forum, the first thing you need to do is find out how you can post your link. Usually you are allowed to post your blog link in your signature. Set up your signature file with your blog link. Once this is completed, take a few hours each day to post useful comments in the forums. Eventually people will start considering you an expert in your niche and they will be keen to check out your site.
The next traffic generation is another important one, which is to submit articles to free article directories. Note that you may not want to submit your blog posts to these article directories as that will affect your search engine ranking. The article you've submitted should have a link to your blog, so when these article directories publish your articles, the readers of your articles will follow through the link to your blog. Article marketing can not only bring instant traffic to your website but also increase the search engine ranking of your blog at the same time.
Last but not least, start getting people to opt in to your list and setup RSS feeds for your blog. This allows the subscribers to enjoy your blog in the comfort of their email inbox by selecting the option on your blog software to email your blog post every time a new one is up. This will be a method to draw daily traffic to your blog for free, and keep the traffic you obtain from your forum posting returning to your blog.

Having all original and quality content that nobody can get anywhere else is another key factor in creating traffic to your website. Offer visitors quality information that will not only help them, but get them interested and want to come back in the future. 3. Back Link Your Website
When you back link your website(s), the search engines will automatically pick up that link and rank your website(s) higher. Places you can link your website(s) are YouTube, twitter and all social bookmarks (Facebook, MySpace, Digg, etc.).

3 Tools to Create Traffic to a Website

Lately I have run into people online who think that just because their company gave them a free website when they joined they are then marketing that website online. Before we get into some of the tools to create traffic to a website I feel like I need to clear this up--simply having a website does not mean you are marketing it. Furthermore, simply having your website on a business card does not constitute as marketing it either. If this was the mindset that you had, you probably haven't had a lot of success which is why you are here and why you are looking for tools to create traffic to your website.
The number one goal that you should have for your website is for it to be optimized for the search engines. That means that when someone does a search on Google for your product or service, you want your website to come up on the first page. The way to do this is to learn how to create organic traffic to your website. Here are 3 tools you can begin to use to create this traffic.
Facebook. If you have a business and you have not yet created a group/fan page for your business that is the first step you should take. Many people look at Facebook as simply a tool to use to keep up with friends and family, but it is also one of the best free marketing tools online today. There was even a recent rumor that Facebook has been getting more traffic than Google. So, use Facebook as a tool. Create a page for your business, and begin to put links up that go back to your website. However it is important that you not only put up links to your website but mix them in with helpful tips, articles, and useful information that the people you are marketing to would be interested in.
Articles. Article marketing to create traffic to a website is one of the unknown treasures of the internet. You can sign up for E-zine articles and begin to write about your products, do reviews of your competitors or anything else that your target audience would be interested in all while linking back to your website.
Twitter. You would be surprised how many people are on Twitter and using it to glean information about the things that they love and are passionate about. If you want to begin to use Twitter as a tool you first need to build up a following of people who you are wanting to capture. Then you begin to tweet. It is best to tweet in groups of five making the last tweet one that goes to your website. Again, just like when using Facebook, you don't want to make it all about you. You want to be seen as a good resource for information in your particular niche.
There are many more tools that you can use to begin to draw traffic to your website. The number one thing that you need to understand before you begin to use any of these tools how to use keywords.

How To Choose Tools to Create Traffic to a Website - 5 Essentials

How to choose tools to create traffic to a website when there are so many online marketing techniques out there? Here are the five steps for appearing on the first page of search engine results, which is the key to how to increase hits on your website. I followed the steps shown below and my very first article made it to the #1 spot on a Google search engine results page with 68 million results. Here's how.
1. Develop a preliminary subject that can be honed to a clear target statement. The important tool for this stage is your own mind.
2. Perform keyword research based on your preliminary subject. Keywords can range from single words to a "long-tail" keyword phrase of even five or six words; a keyword phrase of several words still counts as a single keyword if you define it that way. Well-chosen one- or two-word keyword phrases can be very popular, yet sometimes so much so that you probably will be left behind in driving traffic to your website because everybody else is using the same words. Being more specific, long-tail keywords attract folks that are more interested in your message.
3. Create a title for your message based on your preliminary subject and keyword research. The title must be a visual speed bump. You can choose to do the work yourself or pay to outsource it.
4. Create a message made of quality content. You can do it yourself; some folks achieve quicker success through outsourcing.
5. Get the word out. This is where the rubber meets the road. From all the possibilities, here are the most important tools in which you can have a direct impact: a) Your blog site. b) Published articles. c) Posted videos. d) Social bookmarks. e) Paid advertising.
Some people consider analytics that measure traffic to your site and backlinks as tools by which you may directly control creation of traffic to your website. However, backlinks are optimally generated by publishing content of high enough quality that outside readers install links to your site. So, in the context of this article analytics and backlinks are considered to indirectly create traffic to your website. Note: a) through d) can be done for free or outsourced for a fee.
a) Your blog site is your commercial face on the internet. It's the major stepping off point for deriving income, either through your primary product or as an "affiliate" for third party vendors.
b) Published articles are mandatory. Quality content will create the internet equivalent of word of mouth. There are many ways to get your articles distributed broadly in a short period of time.
c) Another essential tool is to post your video presentations on YouTube and other video sites. Your search engine rankings will be strengthened by videos that complement your online articles.
d) To fail to social bookmark your work is to seriously curtail your success in creating traffic. Social bookmarking, i.e. posting news of your article (or a short summary of it) on Facebook and other social sites, gains wide distribution quickly.
e) Paid internet advertising, such as a banner ad, can be useful as a tool. You can also create video ads and social bookmarking ads. You pay, but you'll get quicker results than from free choices. Stay away from Pay Per Click unless you have expert knowledge.
There are a large number of web traffic tools for sale. I recommend a conservative approach on acquiring them. There are useful free ones available. Don't get so burdened by tools that you cannot focus on subject content.

Powerful Tips Creating Traffic To Your Site - For Free

If you are a newbie or if you own an Internet business, one of the problems that most of us face at one point is to keep a constant flow of traffic coming to our website. We have all listened to the Internet gurus, in fact we have all spent thousands of dollars on buying e-books to read the same thing over and over again. And that is to post in forums, and to try AdWords or start up a blog.
Well, I'm sick and tired of posting in forums. The truth is, the traffic keeps on coming as long as you're posting. But if you stop, the traffic stops coming as well. I wasted way too much time posting in forums before I found out that there are other way of creating multiple streams of traffic. If I was getting a dollar per post, I would have been a millionaire by now.
Since I was low on budget, I didn't wanted to pay to advertise my website. But since posting in forums was taking too much time and a continuous effort of wasting too many hours each day,I decided to change the way of advertising my website. I decided to give AdWords a shot. AdWords is a Google's service and sure it's Super fast. My ads were up on Google's network within 15 minutes, but it was costing me fortune. I was spending way to much on advertising than to make any profit. It wasn't even a week before I decided to say Goodbye to that as well.
Left with this kind of situation, I was really frustrated and was looking for a miracle to happen. All I wanted to do was to advertise my website and open a way of getting lots of qualified traffic to my website. Then one of my friends told me to start writing articles. Why not? This is exactly what I asked myself. I've tried other things, why not try this? So I decided to put my thoughts together and started writing articles about my favorite things. Well it was a matter of days, I came up with quite a few articles and started distributing them to different article websites. But if you're wondering how many? I had around 25 to 30 articles.
After the week of distribution, I saw a big change in the numbers of traffic. Traffic was really good, and it was coming from various different sources. It was the first smile I had in past few days and boy o boy, I was a happy man. I made quite a lot of sales that week. Since then I had no trouble of getting qualified traffic to my site.
I have to say that writing articles does work. It takes a while to get use to writing articles. It's a skill that you need to develop over the time. But once you do, you are unstoppable. If you are struggling to create traffic to your site, maybe its time for you to try writing articles and see the difference.

10 Ways of Creating Traffic to Your Blog

If you really want to create traffic to your blog then you better listen up. There are things that you can do to help get traffic to your blog for free without every having to pay anything. I created this list after asking myself what drives me to reading others blogs. Once you ask yourself this question, you too can create your own list. I am not like some of the other bloggers, I don't just tell you what to do, I give you a reason of why you should do it to get traffic to your blog. Enjoy the list and be sure to comment or add your own into the mix.
1. Content
Just like everyone has said from the beginning, content is king. If your content is worth reading then this can generate traffic to your blog and give you a potential income if this is what you are after. Write content that is worth reading and your readers will stick around for a while and maybe even tell their friends.
2. Make it search engine friendly
This isn't exactly necessary but it does work to some extent. I have heard many saying that you should create a blog with a domain name that tells what your blog is all about. I chose my domain name after my son died. My son was known as the Gaje Master and I sort of picked it up. Gaje Master doesn't really tell what my blog is about but on the other hand, when people search for Gaje Master I am the first thing that pops up which makes it easier for them to find.
3. Submitting your blog
Every now and then, search engines like Google need a little helping hand to find your blog. Submit your blog to search engines and make it easier for people who are looking for you. This also helps search engines to get your blog indexed more quickly.
4. Ping blogging services
There are many places that allow you to ping your blog but Pingomatic is the best that I have found so far. Pinging helps to get traffic to your blog by pinging different services to tell them that you have updated your blog. If you use Wordpress, you may enter these in the pinging field to allow these services to be pinged automatically. Technorati even has a pinging service that you can use and we all know how important people think that the technorati authority is.
5. Build relevant links to your blog
This has been a touch situation for many bloggers since there are a lot of them that say that this is the wrong way to get traffic to your blog. In any case, I haven't seen it hurt anyone but I do recommend that you only get linked back to your blog by other relevant blogs. In order to get traffic to your blog by building links you will need to create or do a few things first. Commenting on relevant blogs is one way to get traffic to your blog, writing free article for free article directories is another but this is another touch issue; leaving trackbacks to other blogs can also help you to get links built.
6. Contest your way to getting traffic to your blog
I have seen many do this and it has proven to work. Create a contest of your choice and ask the participants to write a blog post about your blog with a link back. Give something good away so that you will drive more attention to your blog. The more people that enjoy what you are giving away, the more people will want to blog about you. A contest doesn't just help in getting traffic to you blog it can also have many other benefits.
7. Become and expert and start getting traffic to your blog
There is nothing worse than trying to get traffic to a blog that knows nothing about what they are posting. If you are just starting out or have been blogging for a while, take the time to learn as much as you possibly can about the subject. The more you know, the more you can blog about and the more you can teach people. Once you are an expert and people realize this, they will continue to come to your blog which in return means more traffic for you.
8. Start a tutorial
A tutorial doesn't have to be complicated and many more people will sign up for your RSS Feed or continue to return if you can promise them something worth returning over. I started my one year goal in hopes that I would accomplish my mission of making it as one of the top bloggers and this is a bit of a tutorial that I started for my readers. In my One Year Goal I will be giving all my readers the tips and secrets that I am using to get to the top by following a top blogger for a full month. If you want to see how this tutorial goes, sign up for my RSS Feed and learn along with me.
9. Write something that will get linked to
These are actually a favorite of mine since many will link back to you and help in getting more traffic to your blog. A great list is something like a resource list, list of tips, advice that everyone can use, Top whatever list. These types of list seem to draw the most attention and will create more links back to your blog. I also like doing a number list.
10. Become an active blogger
Being active will help in getting traffic to your blog. The more people see your name, the more they are going to want to know about you. I am very active in forums, blogs, and anywhere else that I can be. I have found that if you are active and use your URL in places that allow you to use it, people will click.
