How to Create a Blog - It Can Be Easy With the Right Instruction

Learning how to create a blog can be incredibly intimidating for many people. I myself started a blog but didn't touch it for over a year because I didn't have the right instruction. But a friend of mine told me how fun and easy it could be and here I am today. For me blogging seemed too technical with hearing words like "install scripts", "robots" and having to deal with "MySQL panels". I didn't know how to blog when I first started. But here is the good news!
You yourself can learn how to be successful in blogging. There is a phenomenal learning tool that will help anyone to get started. Even if you don't come from an internet marketing background. You can become a niche blogger with the right instruction.
One of the best things about The Niche Blogger is how easy and detailed the program is. The program offers screen shots and gives detailed instructions that will walk you through step by step to get your blog set up and out there ready for the world to see. You can even try the program FREE For 3 Days so you can give it a test drive and see how much The Niche Blogger can help you get on the right path in blogging.
The membership program was created by Amy Bass and she makes it very clear that she is just like the rest of us who choose to use her program. She is not one of those internet junkies that are full of "hype" trying to earn a buck. She really knows what it's like to want to be home with her family and still contribute to the household income. Its this compassion for wanting to help so many people that separated the Niche Blogger membership from anything else out there that I've seen online.
The instructions are so simple you will feel like an expert blogger in no time at all. Don't spend hours, weeks or even a year struggling with your blog. There is no reason for all that frustration. When you start your blog using The Niche Blogger you will save yourself an incredible amount of time and sanity. Because the amount of time and energy this program will save you the fee is next to nothing compared to that. The monthly membership fee you pay will be quickly recouped once you utilize the concepts and techniques and put them into action.
So with the Niche Blogger membership you will get screen shots, videos, written instructions, an online forum to get some additional help from other bloggers just like you and you'll even have access to Amy. This really is a great program that can help anyone get started in blogging.

  • Adding a custom domain to your blog can add an additional level of trust and professionalism for your visitors. If you will be directing people to your website (and not just search engine visitors), you will want an easy to remember domain. You can sign up for a new domain without ever leaving the blogger web page.
  • Under the publishing tab in your blog settings, select the "custom domain" option.
  • You will be taken to a page where you can select your unique domain name (make it memorable!).
  • Purchase your domain name and link it to your blog. You will be using Google checkout to sign up and pay for your domain. Currently domains are $10 a year, a great price.

Step 3: Create your content!
You will never make any money on your blog unless you have content for your visitors to read. So get creating. Here are a few tips,
  • Write often. If you're new to blogging set aside a few hours a week to create new blogs. You can even hammer out several blogs at the same time and set blogger to publish them at a later date.
  • Make your content interesting with pictures. Add images in your blog posts to illustrate what you're talking about. You can even embed videos from sites like youtube.com.
  • Advertise your blog to your friends and through social networks like Facebook and Twitter. The more people that view your blog, the more ad revenue you will be able to accumulate.
  • Link to similar blogs with a sidebar widget. Sometimes you can get the attention of other bloggers and they will add you to their blogroll. This sends more traffic to your blog.

Step 4: Monetizing Your Blog with Google AdSense

The way Google AdSense works is that it scans your blog content for key words and uses them to generate text and image ads based on your content. When visitors stumble upon your blog and click on your ads, you make money (and no, you can't make money by clicking your own ads or getting others to do it for you, Google will find out and you won't get paid).
  • In your blogger settings, visit the "Monetize" tab. You will be asked to create a Google AdSense account. Follow the tutorial to create your account. You will need to enter your name and address so Google will know where to send the check.
  • After you have successfully created and linked your AdSense account to your blog, you will be able to choose where to place the ads on your blog.
  • Once you have selected where to place your adds, you can also set up ads in your website feed (RSS feed) and use Amazon's Associates program to make even more cash.
  • If you are starting your blog from scratch, you will need to have a considerable amount of content to get started, Google needs context before it can place ads on your site.
  • After you submit your request, it will take a few days to get your Google AdWords working on your blog, so keep writing those posts.

How to Create a Blog on Your Already Successful Site

If the fact that you already have a successful website is putting you off from having a business blog, it's time to stop worrying. There are different ways of incorporating a blog on any website, and the best one will depend on what type of website you currently have, and what are your needs in terms of blogging.
Reasons to add a blog to your existing site
A blog can be a great marketing tool even for an established business website. A business blog is an easy way of incorporating regularly updated content on your otherwise static business website, allowing you to establish your authority on your niche, attract the attention of the search engines and give your customers a reason to regularly revisit your website. Are you convinced yet?
Creating a blog on a free platform
The most popular blogging platforms on the Internet are probably WordPress and Blogger, and both of them can be used for free to create a fully functional blog that matches your company website look and feel, but it's hosted on a different server. This is great if your current website is static and doesn't use a CMS, if you don't have access to your server to create a database and install blogging software or simply if you don't want to deal with maintaining a business blog.
You can create a blog on an external free platform in just a few minutes, though you will probably spend a few hours making sure everything looks perfect and playing with the configuration options. It's as simple as creating a new account on WordPress.com or Blogger and creating a blog, and choosing or editing a theme until it looks exactly as you want it. You will then need to link to that blog from your business website, and the other way round. You can pay for extra services, such as having your own domain name instead of the default ones which are a sub-domain of Wordpress.com or Blogger and access to premium blogging themes.
Using a sub-domain on your own hosting
If you want your blog to look even more integrated with your existing business website you can also install the blogging software of your choice on a subdirectory on your existing hosting. You may need a bit of technical knowledge to make sure you have configured the sub-domain correctly, create a database for your new blog without affecting your current site and uploading all the files to the correct place, but the end result will be a blog hosted on your own servers and totally under your control, that will have an url such as
<span style="background-color: white;">http://blog.yourdomainname.com</span>
The benefits of having your blog on your own hosting are many, but the most important is that it's totally under your control, and you will be able to write about anything or use advertising without having to agree with other platforms terms of service. On the other side, having your blog hosted in the same hosting as your main website means that if your website is down because your hosting has a problem, your blog will be down as well, and you won't be able to use it to inform your customers about that.
RSS feeds
If you want to use the contents of your blog on your existing website homepage, the easiest way is to incorporate a widget with the RSS feed of your blog. This may need some programming knowledge, depending on what kind of website you currently have, but you can also use a third party service such as Widgetbox to create Blogger widgets that can be incorporated on a static HTML website.

Newbie - Find Out How to Create A Blog

Want to make money online? Wish to create a blog but do not know how?
You are in the right hand. Let me share with you some of the tips on how you can create a blog easily. Firstly, you need to understand what blog is. Blog is a site on internet where you can share a topic with huge number of internet users all around the world.
The topic can be anything and everything so long as there is interest in the topic. Besides sharing information, you may treat it as web diary which you can access and update anywhere anytime. But of course you need the URL and password.
Step by step on how to create a blog:
Firstly, you need to find a web host. There are numerous web host that offers free services and quite reliable. It will be good to select well known provider to save you from unnecessary problems in near future.
Secondly, sign up. Account creating is a must. It is a basic requirement for blog creation. Do not worry about the design and what to do next as most provider will provide you with template and user friendly step by step guide to create your blog. But remember to choose easy to remember blog name. It will help you a lot.
Thirdly, there are two types of blog available which are personal and public blog. Personal blog is a blog where it was password protected. So only you and certain people you appointed were allowed to access. Where public blog is blog that can be viewed by public and post comment on your post. You will still provide administrator password to edit and/or create a post. Depends on your usage, you may choose from this two.
Fourth, the next thing is get familiarized with your blog and options available. You need to update your blog from time to time in terms of its content, overall looks, designs. Try to make it simple but attractive. Too many designs and application will drag time your page uploaded. You may not want your viewer to see a lot of picture and or inactive application as they view your blog.
Fifth, upload picture, video, audio, etc... After blogging for a while you might want to make your site looks more professional and attractive by uploading information. Do not panic, I understand that many newbie will find it very confusing at first. But some web hosting will provide user friendly page to guide you on how to upload your information. All you need to do is ready the instruction, digest it and do it.

How to Create an Interesting Blog

You have decided that you want to enter the blogosphere but you don't know where to start. Fear not, because we are here to help you out. This article will be geared to non-professionals and those who do not understand how to build a website from scratch. After reading this, you will know how to create a blog for yourself.
Starting out, if you are writing a personal blog or just getting started it is recommended that you use a free service like wordpress or blogspot. Both have great interfaces that make designing your blog as simple as point and click. They are also free, so you can get your message out there without having to pay for a domain name or hosting expenses.
Now, what is your blog going to be about? Is this going to be an online journal that covers the minutiae of your daily life or are you going to impart some wisdom that you have gained on a specific topic? You can do both, but I would recommend creating separate blogs for each topic. Targeting the content of a blog to a specific topic will help you in two ways: 1) your readers will know what to expect when they visit your page 2) the ads placed on your page will be relevant.
Having decided what you want to write about, make sure you have enough content. Choose a topic that allows for a lot of room to write about. For example, if you are going to write a dog care blog, keep it general so that you can jump around from high-grade foods to grooming. If you specialize in either of those sub-topics you may find that you run out of material.
Write what you know. People are great at seeing through fake writers. It becomes very obvious when you are reading someone who actually knows what they are talking about. You don't need a PhD, but it certainly helps if you know your subject and enjoy writing about it.
Which brings us to our final point - have fun! A blog is not a job, at least until you get syndicated. Have fun with it. Play with your audience, encourage them to provide comments. The beautiful thing about blogging is that unlike most other writing, it provides nearly instant feedback. Don't think too much about the how to when you create your blog, focus on the content; the rest will follow.

How Do I Create A Blog Site?

This is a question asked frequently by newbie bloggers and we hope to be able to answer it to some extent in this post.
Blogging is the best example of how far the internet revolution has impacted everyday life. As of July 2011, there were 164 million active blogs according to Infographic. 27% of these bloggers are full time and monetized while the rest were primarily social platforms.
If you're looking for a creative way to share your opinion or publicize your services and products you need to understand how to create a blogging site or a blog. Not only is it a simple task but one that will cost virtually nothing.
Here are a few steps involved in creating a blogging site:
Buy a Domain Name
The success of any online business lies in the domain name you use. As such, use a reliable domain registrar and where possible, look up for more alternatives and variations to your first choice.
The domain should be easy to spell and where possible, avoid numbers and hyphens as visitors will be put off. The domain name must also reflect your business name.
Your hosting company may offer a free domain name as part of the package. This may not always be a good way to go as the domain name does not necessarily belong to you.
It is always better to buy a domain in your name and buy the hosting package afterward. While it's usually easy to change web hosts, the host may not be cooperative if the domain is not in your own name.
Choose a Host
The next step in create a blogging site is signing up for a paid blog hosting package. There are many hosting companies out there each with its pros and cons and after signing up, you will get blog applications installed for free.
There are many benefits of using readymade blog software, like WordPress, as you will save time, money, and get built-in functionalities to help you post articles. Choose a host with Fantastico, which comes with a one-click install of WordPress and other software.
With WordPress, it will be easy to optimize your blog when you are using an established host. Such installations make your blogging experience a delight irrespective of your IT skills.
Always pick an established host to ensure you join a large community where there will be a flow of free information and adequate technical support when needed.
Pick a Theme
Your visitors will get a first impression of your blog by how it looks and as such when you create a blogging site always look out for themes which reflect your business.
There are many free themes offered by WordPress but if you want something unique, it is best to invest and buy your own themes.
When you change your blog theme, the content is not usually affected, but may require minor tweaks to make it look good.
Add Content
This is the most fundamental aspects when you create a blogging site. Content defines what your blog is all about and valuable, timeless and original content is the best kind.
This is the only way of guaranteeing repeat visitors and optimizing your blog for search engines. When creating content, make sure you research your topic well and give candid opinions on your specific niche as this will create trust between you and your blog readers.
In particular, make sure that your About and Contact pages are comprehensive enough to give the visitor a true feel of the person behind the blog.
Build Traffic
The last critical part as you create a blogging site is building traffic. You can start doing this by submitting it to blog carnivals, back linking, integrating social media networks, and also involving yourself in blog commenting and reviews.

Learn How to Create a Blog in 5 Steps

Step 1:
Think of what you love doing, or what you know a lot about. The number one reason blogs fail (whether created for profit or fun or both) is because the creator runs out of ideas. If you want to be successful, pick something you either love doing and know a lot about or something you want to learn about. Yes, you can actually create a blog about something you are learning:D! I love learning new things, and I have had HUGE success simply by creating a blog about the topic I want to learn. It has actually been proven that people learn better by teaching others, so don't be afraid to simply create blog to show others the great info you're learning:D. You'll be surprised how much more you will learn...and how much more money you will make too;).
Step 2:
REPEAT STEP 1 FIVE (repeat 5!) times. If you say you can't come up with 5 topics you know a lot about and enjoy doing AND 5 things you want to learn about then, no offense, you need to stop reading this and go back to working at McDonalds. When sitting down to create a new blog network (I will talk about this in a later post) I usually start with between 15-20 new ideas and cut them down from there. I say repeat Step 1 five times, but if you have enough having 10 topics is even better (as you will see in the next step)
Step 3:
Keyword Research. The most important and most overlooked aspect of any type of Internet Marketing (or for that matter any business in general). Keyword Research basically means FINDING OUT IF PEOPLE WILL BE INTERESTED IN LEARNING WHAT YOU WANT TO TELL THEM! You should have between 5-10 Blog topics you are considering. In the keyword research stage, you will research each individual topic to find out if it is a viable option. By viable option I mean 1) there are people searching for the topic on a search engine and 2) there is money being spent in the topic. Although you can monetize ANY (repeat ANY) aspect of the internet, it's always easier (especially if you are new) to go into a niche topic thats ready to spend some cash:D. I won't be going into Blog monetization in this post but if you keep it in mind now you will save yourself some serious pain and suffering down the road.
There are two places I use to do keyword research:
Google KeyWord Tool Look for a total search volume of 5k or more for your top 5 keywords
KeyWord Tracker Look for a total count of 300 or more for your top 5 keywords
Step 4:
Buy a domain and Hosting. I get my domains and hosting from two places and two places only. I get my domains from GoDaddy and I get my hosting from Hostgator. Why? Because they are the best, period.
Hostgator.com is where I have ALL my hosting accounts, and I am constantly raving about how great they're customer service is, as well as the spectacular pricing I get. I have found no one better
Now for domains. Simply put, I love GoDaddy:D. I also love the GoDaddy Girls but that doesn't really have anything to do with blogs;). My number one rule of thumb is buy the best from the best, and GoDaddy has never disappointed me. My other number one rule of thumb (this is why I have two thumbs) is to ALWAYS diversify. You CAN if you want to buy your domains through HostGator.com, but this makes me nervous. Why? Because if for some reason HostGator goes down, so do my domains. If I buy through GoDaddy, I can just simply go to GoDaddy and switch them to another hosting account and use my backup databases on my computer. I have never had this happen but it's a good idea to plan for the worst.
Step 5:
Choosing your blogging platform. Now I will tell you right now installing a blog on your domain is a b****! You have to have a FTP program, find the right files, set up your SQL database, etc. Even worse you probably have no idea what any of what I just said means.
But don't worry, I have you covered:). HostGator comes with with a script installation program called Fanatstico Deluxe, meaning you don't have to do any of what I just said! You simply log into your HostGator CPanel, click on Fantastico, and choose your blogging platform. The only hard part is picking which program to use.
You have three options. b2evolution, Nucleus, and WordPress. I have used both b2evolution and Nucleus, and they are both ok. I will say it very simply, GO WITH WORDPRESS!! I will explain in a later blog on why exactly but rest assured for ease of use, Search Engine Optimization, and 3rd Party Plugins WordPress dominates.

How to Create Successful Blog Content

The world of the Internet has changed drastically since the days of America Online, and the one true browser. However, in that same amount of time, one thing has remained constant. In order to keep your audience and convert your audience, you need a successful content strategy. Indeed, a good source of content and a good distribution system can be as beneficial as having a good page rank, by working word-of-mouth, or what Generation Y has termed 'virally'. So it remains, as it was in the early days of the internet, all the way to the days of YouTube; Content is King.
However, we seem to have lost our focus on content, and instead, trust in vague systems of traffic generation, and care about ad placement as a means to increase conversion ratios. And yes, a well-placed ad is better than a horribly placed one, but the fact still remains, keyword research and an auto-blogger barely constitutes a content strategy, much less a successful one.
Once you have your content laid out, then you can worry about SEO, Link Exchanges, and the like. But before that, you need compelling, fresh, and new content. And its never cheap. To help you define what you need, I will lay out some simple preproduction steps that you should take when planning your next blog. If you choose to reference this, refer to it as the CE Patrick Method.
Step 1: Define Your Concept
Of course, everyone does this. You usually want a niche concept with fewer readers (but more targeted advertisements), as opposed to a supra blog that has advertisement as varied as its readership. Once you've mapped out where you are, and where your going, you need to begin your preproduction research.
Step 2: Preproduction Research
Another staple for anyone who builds, and/or markets websites, preproduction research includes everything from identifying keywords and click rates, to identifying your competition, and the statistics of your most capable competitors. You should take an objective look here, and remember, the more competition you have for a keyword, the more resources you will need to take a good spot.
Thus, if you have fewer resources to work with, you may want to start Step 1 over again; and keep cycling through concepts until you find one with relatively little competition. However, this is a hard task, and you may never find the market entry point that you'll need to succeed.
You should also gather data on various sources of traffic generation. Price per click for paid advertising, conversion ratios, monthly output, and PR affect of articles, and so forth. If you find a site with complimentary products (meaning both you and he can benefit from a traffic exchange because your traffic will readily buy his, and his will buy yours), then seek him/her out. And remember, in this business, you may have an actual product, you may not. But your primary product is your content.
Step 3: Content Plan
After you've poured over your statistics, you need to develop a content plan. When you do develop this plan, there are two parts of it that you need to pay close attention to. You need to look at content efficiency, and further optimization. After that, you can put together your plan.
Efficiency should always come first. Simply put, your efficiency is how much it costs you to produce the content, versus how much you will gain for the content. You should definitely keep in mind, that this should be evaluated in both the long run, and the short run. If you are doing it right, your blog content will attract more and more people to come read.
So how does one increase efficiency? Firstly, you want good, quality content. You shouldn't ever reproduce, and if you do, you should be adding something of quality to the content. At the very least, you should be able to add distribution to the content. But primarily focus on content that touches topics that few have talked about.
An Example: Near my home there was a supposed haunted house, it is well known in my state, and the mill for many, many urban legends. However, very few people have ever written about it (online especially). I decided to begin writing about it extensively, and the result was that my content during the time that I was writing about it was new, and fresh (I even took pictures of the site); while the visitors clamored to talk to me about the site, and what was going on.
So, I took a topic, that matched the blog I was trying to produce, and turned it into a source of visitation/revenue. This is the best content to write about, any content that is marginally popular, has the potential to balloon, and has very little web-presence.
Other abilities will increase your content quality/value as well. If you have a guest blogger, their name could bring in readers. Staying opinionated and fresh on new emerging topics will generate readers.
As far as optimization goes, that is a little more SEO specific. I would recommend that you don't worry about that unless you truly understand how Page Rank works. My goal to you, if your a new blogger, is to try not to be tangential. If you stick to your topic, you will automatically stick to your keywords (in a natural way), and your PR/SER will benefit from this.
After you've defined your content types and thought about what sort of content will bring in readers, you should move onto an actual content plan. At this point, you should prepare two diagrams which you will print out.
#1: A Weekly Schedule. You will want to know what you need to post, and what blogs you need to update, per day. You should make your initial schedule in Excel, then print out the completed schedule, by day, on landscaped sheets of paper. I would then tape these to the wall of your office. These papers should include anything you will need to do for that week, personally. Weekly or monthly appointments for administrative purposes should be put in your phone.
#2: A Yearly Content Focus Schedule. A simple Calendar, maybe on another part of your wall. A simple one sheet piece of paper, with each month listed, as well as a summation of goals for that month. For example, on one month you might say:
DECEMBER: Area 51 Month. Make Area 51 Contest. Holiday Wishes.
After a while, if you come to hire more writers, you will need to learn how to coordinate them, and your weekly tasks will diminish, while your administrative tasks increase. But remember; there are only two reasons to every hire a writer for your blog:
A) His presence will bring more traffic; increase your blog's reputation.
B) It costs less to employ him, than the income you gain by doing so. You should also consider your new found time for planning as well, and if your doing things write, this new found time should be going into other projects too.
Step 4: Marketing/SEO Plan
SEO people are going to hate me for this. But SEO should be second to your content plan, after you've developed your content plan, develop your SEO plan based upon it. But here are a few more details I've found useful.
FREE Marketing
I can't stress this enough. Free marketing is good marketing. More importantly, I find that I can come up with marketing ideas in my downtime, on the bus, or even when I'm brain-locked trying to come up with a post for my blog. Article Marketing works, don't take it from me, try it yourself.
Once you've found out your Article Conversion Rates and levels of production, you can then apply these to your weekly schedule, or the weekly schedule for your writers.
Paid Marketing
If I do pay for hits, I pay for hits from a smaller, niche site, which usually tends to be cheap enough that I might manage to make a profit from such. Just find your conversion ratios, and find out how much you make per person who visits, the amount you pay for someone to visit should be below this, probably way below to cover other costs.

How to Create Regular Blog Fans

We bloggers have an interesting set-up.
When blogging first came out, it was compared to an online magazine. Only it wasn't really delivered. It was closer to a magazine you read at Borders but could not order a subscription to. You just had to go and buy one, take it home, and then return for the next one. Or maybe you'd just browse and read the articles you left, and not leave without purchasing anything
Now it's getting a little easier with RSS feeders, but there's another problem with those. People need to either have RSS software installed and running on their computer, or be willing to log into their online RSS service periodically in order to see your updates. There's no guarantee someone will see your important blog updates in time.
Even worse, RSS readers take out most of the incentive for someone to visit your site. Your content is streamed to be viewed at another location, so it's one less visit to your web page for each visitor who uses RSS. In fact, your advertising revenue could be affected because ads are typically not viewed in RSS readers, and most ad networks pay either per impression, per click, or based on how much monthly traffic you're likely to pull in.
So RSS readers are not the best way to keep people coming to your site. I'm not saying to cut RSS from your site, of course. It's a necessary part of blogging in this world, just like taking American Express for your business is, even with their outrageous merchant fees.
What's the best way to get around this?
Email marketing.
When you capture an email address, you thereby turn a visitor into a subscriber. Whenever you have an important update to your blog, you can email your whole list and let them know to come check it out.
Now, I'm not saying you should email your list every time you have a new article, but it does make sense to keep them in the loop of major updates. Maybe you have a cross promotion with an affiliate product you want to sell. Maybe you've been featured in an off-site major magazine and want your viewers to check it out. You could even have a damn good article that you want to make sure everyone sees.
Now how do you set this up? Sign up for one of the good email marketing services. We call them autoresponders. You can plug in a few starting emails to automatically contact your new subscribers. You'll of course need them to opt in voluntarily, and maybe even confirm through their email that they want your ongoing information. This is good news though, because the slight effort it takes for someone to confirm a subscription validates in his or her mind that he or she really wants to keep hearing from you.
Some people like to give a special "treat" to their new subscribers for signing up. This is often a special report in a PDF file, an audio recording, an online video, or even simply a multi-part "e-course." This gives someone more of an incentive to join up.
When you see what an autoresponder can offer you, you'll be amazed how you went this long in your blogging without it.

How To Create A Blog That Is More Interesting

A blog's overall look can make or break its popularity. It's just normal for readers to be drawn to appealing blogs, that's why bloggers should step back and evaluate how their blogs look like from a visitor's point of view.
It's vital that your blog is attractive when readers look at it because they always anticipate for immediate enjoyment. A blog visitor may not spend another second on your blog if he finds it unappealing. If you desire to smarten up your blog, it's better to redecorate it. Here are tips on how to beautify your blog:
Make use of alignment. It is often heard from designers when they illustrate the appearance of a dress or a bedroom facet. The designs are simple. Making use of alignment on a blog should be applied to all text and images and it must also have an even size. Borders between blog elements should be clearly visible and clutter kept to a minimum. A simple design is not difficult to look at so better reduce the unnecessary stuff especially in small areas.
Modify your template. It takes time to find the proper template to be used on your blog. Every blogger has their personal wants and fondness. Although you discovered the perfect one, using your own creativity is still the best choice. You don't want your readers to think your blog is just another run-of-the-mill type. A personalized template shows your creativeness and far too different from the rest.
Dark text on light background. This has been seen in all tests and surveys conducted over and over again. Many online visitors choose to read bold font wordings on light backdrop than it's opposite which is light colored wordings on dark backdrop. It won't strain the eye that much. If you still desire to make use of a dark backdrop, choose a partly solid light-colored layer for the wordings.
Adjust font size. You may have a perfect vision but your readers might not have that kind of eyesight. Some users have a hard time reading small text and elaborate fonts. Those are possible reasons for them to stay away from your blog. To avoid that, use standard fonts and set your general font size to medium (size 12-14); titles, larger.
Minimize your advertisement. Advertisements are beneficial to bloggers, but these should not be the 'main event' of the blog. Several blogs include many ads that you wouldn't be able to see the valid content of it. Only accept advertisements that are relevant to what your blog is about. These ads may bring in income, but too much of it can turn off readers since it would look like the blogger is only concerned about the money and not his followers.
Stand out by using an image border. Visualize a wall with photographs that doesn't have frames on the side. Not so appealing, right? Image borders will serve as your frame to draw attention to the totality of your blog. It will standardize the look of the entire blog site.
Paying a quick visit to your own blog is like looking at yourself in a mirror. Do you find it appealing at first glance? The saying "Don't judge a book (your blog) by its cover" is not always applicable to all things particularly in blogging. Therefore, It would be best to follow the steps mentioned above to produce a fascinating blog.
