A blog is something just about every company and individual has. Designing an attractive blog consists of a layout that is attractive and captivating to those that read it. Having an attractive blog can make the difference between the blog that is read and a blog that goes unnoticed.
So how do you create an attractive blog?
*Never leave negative or white space. Empty and white spaces can be boring for those trying to read your blog and often can be distracting. Instead of having those small spaces of white, use a call to action.
*Contrast colors rather than keeping it simple. A quality website should have a color scheme, but not something that is too overly ornate. Colors should help draw the reader's attention to action.
*The size of your page should all be utilized. Use larger elements to attract the readers to your call to action and even use it to reiterate the reason for why they are looking at your site to begin with.
*Remember that your fonts matter. Choose the font and sizes of font that are easy to read on no matter what screen they are read on.
*People go from the left to right and top to bottom. Design the blogs and your layout to follow the way people will naturally read to.
