Internet Marketing For Beginners - What Is A Squeeze Page?

When it comes to Internet Marketing for beginners, there's no better way to guarantee your success than by building a loyal, targeted database of opt-in subscribers.
Once you have a list you own it! Nobody can take it away from you. There aren't too many other business assets you can say the same thing about. For most businesses, you can quickly see a dramatic turn in sales and/or profits (virtually overnight) if big competition happens to settle into your market. It happens everyday in every industry imaginable. Think about all those small grocery stores in all those small towns across the country... and think about what happened when Wal-Mart opened.
But once you build a list of "permission based" opt-in email subscribers... it doesn't matter how much competition you have in your market. You've already built a rock solid foundation: A strong customer base eager and willing to hear from you over and over again.
You can provide periodic emails with your unbiased opinion about certain products you've used or recently discovered that might benefit them in some way. Of course, you'd have your affiliate link embedded in the offer just in case a few might want to purchase the product for themselves... CHING!
You can begin creating your own information products and offer them a discount for being a part of your list of loyal customers... CHING!
You can offer your services at a discounted rate for a limited time to subscribers only... CHING!
You can inform them about new promotional materials you have for your affiliates (who... by the way earn a percentage of all sales they generate) and if anyone is interested they can sign up and start promoting some of your products and services... CHING! CHING!
I hope you get the point I'm trying to make here. Don't approach your list as simply a list of names only there to make you money. Develop a relationship with your list and truly work on helping them achieve their goals as well. I see too many people who email their list every single day and all they send them are offers to other products. How is someone supposed to find benefit in that? Provide some useful content as well. Add some personality too!
If you do, then chances are you'll have a goldmine of opportunity at your disposal in no time. Simply put: just care a little! Do the right thing. Before you know it you will have a responsive, targeted list eager and willing to spend money with you at will.
Okay Erik, I get it... But how do I build a list?
Answer: With a Squeeze Page.
So what exactly is a squeeze page? What does it do? And why do you need one?
Well, a squeeze page is a page created specifically to capture leads.
Think about it like this: in "the real world" any time you interact with someone you always learn something about the person you are interacting with... it's a two-way street. A handshake, a conversation, an exchange of business cards, whatever. It's a two-way street.
On the Internet it's very different.
If you don't have a squeeze page that 'prompts' people to share a little something about themselves you are losing hundreds of business opportunities as people browse through your website and learn about YOU... without so much as leaving their name! You need a page that entices visitors to enter their name and Email Address and join your list.
The beauty is you can meet people through your squeeze page by simply inviting them to introduce themselves to you by leaving their name and email address. In return you give them something of value that can be downloaded instantly. I know you have seen Squeeze Pages. You probably went through one to get your hands on this document.

Effective Email Marketing For Affiliate Marketing Beginners - An Idiot Proof 5 Step Tutorial

Affiliate marketing beginners are often unaware of the tremendous power of effective email marketing to build lasting profit. However, there are a number of challenges the newbie is likely to face. This short affiliate tutorial will detail the major mistakes the affiliate newbie is likely to make, and how to avoid them in the first place.
1: Focus on the people
Email marketers often treat their lists like cash cows. Big mistake! Your list is not a collection of email addresses. Behind each one is a person who trusted you enough to give up their contact details. By focusing on profit ahead of people, you not only will alienate your subscribers, you will spend too much time re-building your list as people drop off like flies. Effective email marketing is, above all else, ethical.
2: How often to mail your list?
Less is often more. If your affiliate niche is one that is fast changing, and there is a clear need to provide up to the minute, daily updates, then your subscribers will welcome hearing from you daily. The evergreen niches, like online marketing or health, do not require this constant bombardment. Your subscribers know this, so don't abuse them. Mail to your list only so often as the market requires, and no more.
3: What to send to your list
Information, information, and more information. And then a product recommendation maybe only once every two to four weeks. That's it! Your subscribers did not join your list to get sold constantly. You promised information, so give them that. They expect you to sell to them as well, but remember you are a guest in their inboxes, so don't abuse the welcome. If you want folks to join your list and stay there, then send them info that is actionable and relevant. Err on the side of generosity.
4. What NOT to send to your list
Don't sent them junk. There's enough of it about. If you want folks to join your list and stay there, then send them info that is actionable and relevant. Err on the side of generosity. When it's time for them to buy from you, trust that they will.
5. How big should your list be?
To paraphrase John Kennedy, ask not what your list can do for you, but what you can do for your list! If you do great things for your list, like providing high quality, succinct, actionable information, you don't need a giant list. If you plan on mailing your list a load of rubbish on a constant basis, plan on needing an enormous list. Good email marketing is not only ethical, it's also efficient.
Bonus tip: The personality you display to your readers is crucial. How do you want to come across? Serious? Comic? Abrasive? Sincere? All of these are legitimate ways to put yourself across, and all of them work with different audiences and different niches. But you need to make a conscious decision how YOU want to portray yourself, and what fits your particular personality and your market.
And that's all there is to it: a short affiliate tutorial on the do's and don'ts of effective email marketing for affiliate marketing beginners.

Affiliate Marketing for Beginners - 3 Vital Tips From The Start!

Affiliate and Online Marketing have been around for some time and with that comes many numerous proven strategies to making the entire process work. Once you have the basics right the rest actually falls in place into a natural order and so does the opportunity to earn money from this endeavour. Remember these three tips in your business plan to ensure you online marketing program advances.
Tip 1: Probably the most important and common mistakes anyone new to affiliate marketing is when they start to develop traffic they don't direct it to their squeeze page before sending it onto to the affiliate link. Why is this important. Well, the simple answer to this is you have done all the hard work by attracting visitors to your site, Why waste all that effort on the possibility of one sale when if you are able to obtain your visitor's details you will be able to start up an email campaign whereby you will offer your subscribers great deals on a regular basis with extra sales of products. Once you have developed a repour of trust with you subscribers more sales of products they actually need can be made and you recommendations will have more weight to them.
Tip 2: Always cloak your affiliate link. As you work your way through the setting up of affiliate programs you will notice that the default or basic affiliate links are very long and to be honest because of that size many visitors will be hesitant to click on them as they may consider them a scam or a virus. There are free sites available such as tiny url which are able to cloak those links. You can also pay for professional link cloaking software. The decision is yours.
Tip 3: I really believe best form of traffic generation is content marketing. What is content marketing: Basically it is a marketing technique of creating and sending valuable content (which can be articles, press releases, video formats, newsletters etc) to attract a targeted audience to your site or blog. There are two distinct advantages to this form of traffic generation. One you are building credibility in the marketplace and two you are increasing your website presence in the marketplace. However for this to truly work you need a focused aggressive approach on a consistent basis over many months.
These proven vital tips will help you online affiliate business grow. To be honest you sites and campaigns success rely on your aggressive approach to this form of marketing. Remember you are competing in huge marketplace where success and real money are earned on hard work and research!

Article Marketing For Beginners - How to Create a Prospect Pulling Description For Your Articles

Article marketing is a great way to create content, drive traffic to your sites and build your business. Getting traffic to your articles means you need to create a description of your article that makes the reader WANT to, almost HAVE to, read your article. Here's how to do it.
Prospect Pulling Article Descriptions
The article description does not show up when your article is displayed on the article directories. So what makes it so important. Two things:
1) When your article is returned to someone as part of a Google search, the first thing they see is the article title. The second thing they see is the article description. Think of your article description as your "assistant headline" and it's job is to pull the reader further into your article.
2) When you word your description correctly you can repurpose it in email and in the social networks.
What not to do
Most people write really boring descriptions like "This article is about... blah, blah, blah, ZZZZZZZZZZZZ" Don't do this. Don't do anything that would stop the reader from flowing right through your description and into your article.
What to do
Create your description as though you want to compel the reader to stop what they are doing and read your article. This is the result you want to go after.
Here is a strategy I often use in my article descriptions: Ask a question, and then promise the answer. For example:
Wrong: This article is about how to write a compelling description of your article. Yuk, puts me right to sleep.
Right: Do you know how to create a prospect and traffic pulling article description for your articles? You will when you read and use this article.
See the pattern? Ask a compelling question and then promise the answer in your article. You can be creative with your own language that fits your niche and topic for your article description.

You first need to believe that the Internet is here to stay and everyday all over the world people like you and I are making unbelievable amounts of income for a living. All this is done with a personal computer and a broadband connection. You need to believe that this is real and it is happening this very moment.
Step 2: Researching For The Right Tools Online
Now here is where your self doubt kicks in. If you don't really believe you can do it and generate a nice amount of income online then you can stop reading here. Think about it, whatever your level, whether you earn $0 or $500 online that is your beginning.
You can literally boost your income if you only knew the exact steps that top marketers use to succeed. This is called the assistance of tools to help you run your business online. It may be web hosting, domain names or even autoresponders. It may sound a little strange to hear these terms but they are essential to your success online.
Step 3: Deciding On Your Next Move
Now if you have already enough information to start online then the only other thing is to get started. You can do this by simply finding a need in your niche market. A niche market is an area which is tightly focused on a certain topic.
You may be skilled in fly fishing or whatever, the point is if you have knowledge on a certain information that people are willing to pay money to learn - you're in business. You just need to ensure that you are already starting to create your first step in your marketing funnel via collecting email and names for future communication with them.

Affiliate Marketing For Beginners - Writing a Paragraph

Article Writing - How To Write a Paragraph
Introduction
I have been getting a lot of daily emails and they have been fun to read but in some cases they are hard to follow because the content doesn't always flow logically.
That is when I started to look at the content structure and noticed that some paragraphs needed some work.
That is what brings us to the whole idea of writing a paragraph.
William Strunk and his student EB White had some thoughts on this very subject so let us see what we can glean from them.
How to Write A Paragraph - A Unit of Composition
According to our illustrious gentlemen you need to make the paragraph the main component of article content. It can vary in length from a single sentence to a multi sentence dissertation. It all depends on what your intent is when writing your article.
Whatever the length, your paragraph should drive a central idea you are presenting.
If your idea is pretty straightforward like a short product review or a call to action, you could get by with just one paragraph. But in most cases, you are going to need to break down your main idea into a subset of other ideas. That is going to call for new paragraphs to follow the introductory paragraph of your article.
Paragraph Length
As a rule, single sentences should not be written or printed as paragraphs according to Mr. Strunk and Mr. White. There are exceptions. For example, when you are transitioning between two related ideas in your article, then writing a paragraph as a single sentence bridging these ideas makes sense.
As a rule, however, you will want to start a paragraph with a reference to the subject matter that precedes it, or with wording that clearly transitions to the subset you are going to develop in the new paragraph. The flow from one paragraph to another should make sense and advance your message in the mind of the reader. That usually calls for a multi sentence paragraph.

White space
Shorter is better. White space breaks up the visual composition and makes it easier to read. It also sets a visual tone that is sensitive to the reader experience. You want to make your reader comfortable. So give them something that will make their time with you informative and enjoyable.
How Many Paragraphs?
The number of paragraphs depends on the purpose of your article and the progression of ideas. When you have run out of listed features and benefits in a review, then it is time to draw your conclusion and end the piece. You might do it in three, five, seven paragraphs. It all depends on your main idea selection and the number of corroborating points you wish to make.
Some internet marketing sales letters go out to fifteen or twenty pages of copy. You have to be a very good copywriter and know how to write an engaging paragraph to expect anyone to read a sales letter of that length.

Conclusion
Moderation and a sense of order should be the main considerations in writing a paragraph in a proper sequential order according to Mr. Strunk and Mr. White.
Shorter is better, some white space, smooth idea progression from paragraph to paragraph; fit all this into your article marketing and things will start happening.
There you have it! Knowing how to write a paragraph with good structure will help you better communicate with your readership and will have a direct impact on your business. Writing paragraphs that work together will have your customers following your great copy. When that happens your sales are bound to follow.

Affiliate Marketing For Beginners - Make Money With Affiliate Marketing

I know exactly how it feels as a beginner internet marketer. Why? Because not so long ago I was one. I can't say the last 6 months have been a walk in the park - far from it - but retrospect is a wonderful thing, and I can now see there are a number of shortcuts that you can take when starting out as an affiliate marketer.
Here's four things that have taken me from earning nothing to quite a substantial living online and can for you too:
1. How Many Tennis Balls Can You Catch At Once?
If I threw 12 tennis balls at you, how many would you be able to catch? Probably none. But if I just throw one tennis ball, you'd have no problem catching it. Why is this relevant? You should stick with one project at a time until you monetise it. Loads of people jump from project to project spreading themselves far too thinly to really give any niche a proper chance.
In my first few months, I was juggling five different niches and had real trouble making any real money online. I was making a couple of hundred bucks a month, but nothing worth writing home about. It was only when I really knuckled down in one sector did I achieve something really profitable.
2. Market Research Is Absolutely Key
To effectively sell to a certain population, you need to understand them. That means understanding how they think, what problems they have and what kind of solution they are looking for. A great way of doing this is to hang out with your target market in online forums - read some of the threads and interact with them to learn as much as you can.
Remember that even though your target market may think that they act on logic, the harsh reality is that they react predominantly through emotions. That's why great copy writing appeals to emotional responses of the target audience.
3. Build A List
If you're looking to a make a fruitful full time income from affiliate marketing then you need to have security in your business. This means building a long lasting and sustainable customer base with whom you have a relationship. Building a relationship is the quickest way to an ultra responsive list, a list that will rely on what you say and buy on your recommendations. Treat your subscribers with respect and provide them with great information and you, in turn, will reap great dividends.
4. Learn To Write Effectively
Great copy writing is a skill that not many people is born with. However, like any skill, it can be taught. If you try and play Mozart on the piano from the outset then you'll have difficulty, but given a few months to practice you'll have a better chance.
The one key thing to remember with copy writing is this: Every paragraph should be written in such a way that gets your reader to what you want them to do. For instance, the subject line of an email should invoke curiosity in the recipient so that they open the mail.
If you can learn to write effectively and in such a way that inspires action then you'll be an incredibly successful affiliate marketer.

Internet Marketing For Beginners - Make Huge Money on the Internet!

Required to make your website convert. If you are very new to the Internet these technical terms like conversion rates, click through rates and opt ins. Might sound a bit foreign to you. Especially if you are an average Internet newbie(someone new to the Internet) but to most seasoned Internet marketers this is everyday Internet terminology. Basically quite simply conversion rates mean the number of visitors that convert into something else on your website. The sales conversion rates would be the number of people who visited your website and bought your product. So if one hundred people visited your website, and two people bought your product your sales conversion rate would be 2 Per cent.
If you were advertising your product on Google at the bottom of the advertisement is the website link or URL as it is called. If your advertisement was shown on Google one hundred times. And one person clicked on your advertisement this means there was one click through, which took them to your website this would then be a 1 per cent click through rate. An opt in is when someone comes to your web page and gives you your their name and email address usually in exchange for something, maybe a free gift or a newsletter or a free report. Something that your prospect wants. If one hundred people visit your website and 30 people give you their name and email address. This means you then have a 30% opt In rate!
When starting out learning to make money on the Internet, I found a few things out after some trial and error. In actual fact a lot of Internet marketers will tell you to make or create your own product. The problem is for many people starting out on the Internet they don't know how to write sales copy that converts at 2%, or design their own products, many newbies even though they may think they do, have no ideas of what Internet products will sell.
There are two things you can do, you can do what me and a friend of mine did. You can spend months and many hours of your time preparing and producing a product, trying to produce a sales letter, which doesn't convert. And then spend 2k on pay per click advertising, only to discover that people do not want to pay for the product. Or can maybe find similar products on another website for free. Or you can do what we have done, And should have done in the first place which is! Find a high converting product with a residual/money making passive income, Which also comes with various back end sales products to make you extra income after you make your original sale.
Let the more experienced marketers pay their power teams and copywriters to do the research for you to produce the product for you that is selling. So what if you get 50 or 70% commission if you are making the sales, and making money instead of selling one of your own products. You can sell 5 of their products and triple your money. My friend you really don't have to reinvent the wheel. The only downside of affiliate marketing is most of the time you do not get to keep the list.

The marketers are tapping into human nature because we instantly trust a familiar face than a total stranger we see.
How do you build your personal online brand? There are 5 ways to do so:
1) Using your full name and personal picture on your web pages, opt-in pages, "Thank You" pages, blogs, etc. Your web site visitors will know your face after they seen your picture a few times.
2) Include your name and picture in any graphics used on web site headers, special reports or product created. This will create a sense of consistency to your site visitors.
3) Create a recognizable personality. Do this by the way you write your e-books, emails, blogs, etc. Have a consistent "tone" in all your writings.
4) Come up with a easy to remember slogan. The purpose of the slogan is to associate it with your image and establish a relationship. Repetition is important. After your web site visitors read your slogan a few times, it will sink into their mind. Every time they read your slogan, they will instantly associate it with you.
5) Create a logo or colour scheme for all your sites, reports and bonuses. Use a consistent colour in your web site design and any e-books or reports. Use the colour scheme and apply it across various sites your run.

Article Marketing For Beginners - Top 7 Easily Avoidable Mistakes Made by Beginners (and Experts)

Beginning Article Marketers tend to make the same mistakes when they are first starting out. Even lots of veterans make these mistakes. So here are the top 7 mistakes beginners (and veterans) make and what to do instead.
Top 7 Mistakes
Mistake 1 - Thinking just a few will do - Beginners publish a few articles and then sit back and wait for the traffic and profits. When it does not come they say Article Marketing does not work. Article Marketing works, some people don't.
What to Do Instead - Article Marketing is a volume game. The greater the number of articles, the greater all your other numbers will be.
Mistake 2 - Making articles too long - Beginners want to share everything they know about a topic, thus "giving away the store." Articles over 500 words are just too long. I've seen ones that are over 1000 words long.
What to Do Instead - Keep your articles between 300 - 500 words. Anything over 500 words should be two or more articles.
Mistake 3 - Trying to cover too many topics in one article - Related to the second mistake, it's easy to get off track and try to cover too many topics on one article. The article ends up rambling and too long.
What to Do Instead - One topic, one article. When you are tempted to include more than one topic, save it for another article.
Mistake 4 - Writing non-compelling (boring) titles - I see beginners write titles that look and sound academic and boring, as if they were writing a term paper in school.
What to Do Instead - The article title is just like a headline in a newspaper - its job is to grab attention. Make sure you have at least one benefit to the reader in the title.
Mistake 5 - Stuffing the article with keywords - Some beginners think the more keywords they can stuff into the article the better. The reality is this will get your article rejected.
What to Do Instead - Make sure you have your keywords in the first and last paragraph. In between just write naturally and the keywords will show up.
Mistake 6 - Making the Resource Box all about you - I see this one All the Time. People use the Resource Box to try to convince the reader they are a real expert. Real waste of time.
What to Do Instead - It's all about what is in it for the reader. Remember, they are listening to radio station WIIFM - What's In It For Me?
Mistake 7 - Failing to ask the reader to take any action - It's incredible to me how many beginners fail to ask the reader to take the next step in the process. I guess it just does not occur to most folks.
What to Do Instead - Invite them back to your web site or blog to exchange their email address for more good information from you.
