How to Blog - 4 Steps to a Successful Blog Post

Writing a blog post is not that difficult. Especially if you follow a plan or system. The reason this tends to work so well is because you know in advance what you are writing about. And this helps you avoid the dreaded writers block.
Below is a simple 4 step system you can follow while writing to help attract more visitors:
Step #1: Create A Headline Which Compels People to Read Further - This is by far one of the most important, yet overlooked parts of writing a successful blog posts. Many people pour a lot of time and effort into their writing. Once finished they are eager to hit the publish button, and give little thought to the title.
Big Mistake! A compelling headline will literally force someone to read the rest of the article. It draws them into the article by hooking their curiosity, their interest or both. They have to find out what the rest of the article is about.
Step #2: Write content Which Delivers On the Headline's Promise - So, you've written a compelling headline. Now it's very important to deliver the goods with the content. You see readers are expecting to get the answer or finding out what it you promised with your headline.
But here is the fun part. Most of the time a powerful headline will almost write the post itself. What do I mean by that? Simple, a compelling headline will get the creative juices flowing and make writing fast, easy and fun.
Step #3: Try To Link Out To Another Blog - This is an important SEO strategy. Many bloggers have used this strategy to build traffic to their blogs. It's a simple method to ethically borrow other peoples traffic.
Step #4: Include A Call To Action - What a call to action? But, you are probably thinking: "I'm not selling anything". Whether you are selling anything or not you should have a call to action for most every post.
A call to action can be as simple as asking for comments, read related posts or even sign up for your announcement list. This gets your readers accustom to seeing call to actions in your writing. So, when it comes time to sell any offers, your readers will be use to seeing and be comfortable with a call to action.
