Write Unique Blog Posts By Using Your Experiences

No matter what topic of blog post you are writing even a common and well covered topic will be unique when you use your experiences. It doesn't matter if you are writing about pets, children, social topics, fashion or weight loss; the unique perspective of your experience makes the blog post you write different from every other post on the topic.
While a blog post is often on a more personal level than articles or website content it is not necessarily written specifically as a journal, but it can contain your experiences and opinion. A good blog post is a mix of information, facts, experiences and opinion that enables readers to relate to the topic on a personal level while learning about the topic at the same time.
Sure you want your blog post to be a unique post but when nearly every topic under the sun has been covered it is up to your viewpoint and experiences to make your posts different in a personal way.
Suppose you are writing a blog post about a breed of dog. You will want to include information about the history of the breed, traits of the breed and possibly ACK standards for the breed. All of these things are factual information and can be pretty dry reading; heck your reader could find that information on any breed website.
But when you tell about how you owned a dog of that breed and discuss the personality and behavior quirks your dog had while being an exemplary specimen of the breed you've made the post personal and unique in a way that will touch your readers' hearts. They may laugh or cry based on the post you write. Anecdotes and stories of your pet may find their way into many of your posts and provide a feeling of continuance through your blog.
The personal touch is engaging and relatable so that your readers are brought into your world a little bit while they are learning something at the same time. Blog posts can be thought of much the same way that a good teacher teaches while relating to the student. Unique perspectives, experiences and personal writing lead to successful blog posts. Keeping the same tone and mix of personal experiences with informative writing will help you create an oft read blog with followers, subscribers and commenting readers, even if your blog is about a common and well covered topic.
