Writing a Successful Blog Post

Before you can hope to write a successful post, you must think friendly, forceful thoughts, and you must develop friendly, forceful attitudes toward your reader.
You must show your good attitudes or intentions into practice in your post. You will learn the necessary skills that will enable you to get across to your reader precisely what you intend to say.
From Letter Writing to Blog Post
In the beginning, there was letter writing. Letter writing is very old-much older than most of us realize. When the ancient kings of Egypt extended their areas of influence, they found it necessary to correspond with their vassal-princes. They inscribed letters on moist clay tablets. Then they baked the tablets, and sent them on their way. Thus governing-activities were controlled and tied together. Consider it the Egyptian internet!
But many people who write blog posts forget one thing. They fail to put themselves in their readers' place and write the kind of post they would like to have received.
Successful posts are always written from the reader's point of view-with the reader (rather than with the writer) in mind. That means using YOU-words instead of I- or WE-words.
Write in modern terms and do not us a lot of stale, outworn expressions. No blog posts written in old-fashioned words and phrases can hope to be successful, for no message can rise above the tone of the language in which it is written. Any modern blog writer who will remember to put himself in his reader's place will always ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE and ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE!
Write as you talk!
That's right-if you want to learn to write successfully, just learn to write as simply, naturally, and smoothly as you talk.
The trouble with 90% of the posts today is that they are written, not spoken. These posts were written in the same stiff, unnatural language that most people use when they start to write their thoughts.
