How Important Is Your Email List?

Your email list is only as important as you make it, but if you're not making it one of your top three things to do, then you are making a huge mistake. An email list can make all the difference in the world to your bottom line. It collects money from those that have shown that they are interested in what you are selling, but they're not sold yet.
When creating copy for your email message. Understand that you only have a certain time frame before you totally lose your reader. In certain points of your message if you are sending a link to an offer or a URL that you would like your reader to engage in. DO NOT complete your email and place the link at the bottom only... this is bad practice as many people will not finish reading your email and your link will never be seen.
Insert any links that you wish to place in your email message at different intervals or sections. For the ones that skim your reading material, they will click on links sooner than later. For the ones that do complete the read of your message they will click links usually from below the message. This way you are targeting both reader types and creating a larger chance of someone to hit your links or offers.
In your auto responder system you are able to set up multiple email campaigns. An email campaign is set up to segregate your list of subscribers. You can set up a different campaign for each opt in (landing page) or form that collects a name and email address.
These emails you set up can help you to get that first time buyer or that repeat customer to buy one or more of your products. Many who first view your offer will not buy, but will opt in to get a free eBook, Newsletter or other valuable offer. These prospects are still viable candidates to buy what you are selling, they just haven't been convinced.
Some will never buy anything because all they're looking for is the free stuff. Others are on the fence, not knowing if your solution to their problem is the right solution for them. It could also be that you have not gained their trust. No matter what the reason they haven't bought anything from you, but you can change all that by building a relationship with them.
Trust is everything because people buy from someone they know, like and trust. Through your email campaign they will get to know you and if you do it right they will get to like you, too. All that's left is to gain their trust and this is done by being honest with them through your messages.
If you are having a problem getting the messages you send to convey this then you may want to outsource the writing of your emails. As a professional copywriter I know I have written emails that convert the reader from a skeptic into a believer. There is a formula that I use to get this done through a series of carefully planned email messages.
Don't leave your email campaign to chance, it's far too important. Your list can make or break you. Not only does it set the tone of your business, it builds the relationship for the long term. By hiring a professional copywriter to oversee your email campaign(s) you will not only have well thought out messages that convey the overall feelings, but a conversation that will lead them through the steps you want them to take in an honest and forthright way.
