Make sure your headlines have a sales pitch feel to them. This will increase your conversion rates because it gets your visitors attention fast. Make a five part bullet point. Include a list of benefits for the people who do subscribe to your list. This will show them exactly what they will get for joining your newsletter.
2. Leave out-bound links off of your squeeze page. The more links that you include on that page, the lower the conversion rates will be for generating subscribers. Remember that your visitor should take only one action and that is to join your mailing list.
If you do have a link on your lead capture page, make sure it is the same URL as the capture page itself.
3. What do you want your visitors to do when they arrive to your web page? Do you want them to join your newsletter or purchase something?
